PPP’s winner for 2010’s most haunted place…
“THE ENIGMA OF SEAPINES “
Over the decades, I have seen some very haunted houses, people and places. I keep a running log of all my cases and take notice of those that really stand out, as far as having extreme activity. Back in 2002 when we went to a case in Anclote that I called “Ghost Central,” I thought I had seen it all. For PPP to declare a case an extreme haunting there has to be certain things going on. For instance: the haunt has to interactive, there has to be more than one spirit, and there has to be a tremendous amount of evidence to support that finding. Usually there has to be physical contact, audible voices or sounds, apparitions, and lots of evps. Since Ghost Central, few cases really could compete for out title of most haunted. But then in 2008 we went to the first Terrace case which beat Ghost Central and astounded us, beyond anything we had seen before. Then in 2009 came the Breyley haunting, complete with imps, and an entourage of spirits, that caused activity that was off the chain. The spirits there blacked out the house when we arrived in hopes of stopping us from investigating and trying to resolve that haunt. That of course did not work. We are very stubborn and are not easily intimidated. Now in 2010 comes the Seapines case, which has demanded our attention and just seems to keep reanimating and shifting gears all the time.
We spent 6 weeks working the Terrace case, while working other cases in between, before we got it cleaned up. We learned so much in the process. We have been to Seapines three times and are going back again. This is what seems to be an infestation haunt with all the facets that we consider to be extreme, and even hostile. We are trying to put the pieces together to get an idea of how we can resolve this consistent haunting. We believe the ring leader there to be an older female spirit with an axe to grind. We referred to her as the wicked witch of the south. The evps we got from her were nasty, and her voice is like something out of a horror movie. There are several other spirits there, some of which are not seemingly hostile. There is however one male who seems really hostile and has a voice like a pirate. He has threatened us, and tried to prey upon us in different ways, since we started with this case. He has followed some of us home and tried to intimidate. He has made physical contact with two of my team members and the client. This spirit seems very confident, and seems to think that nothing can affect him or what he wants to do. He put in an appearance in the back yard, looking like a full flesh person one evening, when the client went out on the back porch. This was the night after we had been there, for the second time.
This area has many spirits present outside of the home we investigated as well. Some of the evps we have suggest that one of these spirits is a predatory entity. We have an evp where a male spirit says “I suck the life out of these two!” We have another where a female asks him “Why are you sucking the life out of these people?” What do they mean by these comments? Do spirits really suck away our life force, as many in this field believe? The male spirit claims that the spirits read our minds when we come there, in another evp. We have a total of 147 evps from this case, captured over the course of 3 visits. Photos show strange energy anomalies. Research has shown that several of the other homes on this street have had some bad histories. It seems that many people have tried to commit suicide on this block. Others have been baker acted, after moving there. There is evidence to show that the former resident of the same address we are working at, had similar experiences, with entities that appeared so real and bothersome, that she thought she had an actual intruder and called the police. So did the woman who lived in the house next door, as she too had the same things going on at her home. This just adds to the puzzle.
The activity at this case is ever present it seems. We witnessed something that pulled out a patch of the client’s hair, right in front of us. Jay, one of my team members had someone or something tapping on his head. The bed covers are being pulled off one of the children’s beds. Doors are slamming, sobbing is heard in the house, and something continually rattles the door handle and opens and closes the client’s bedroom door at night. A houseguest is tormented with knocking on the walls and the smell of cigarette smoke in her bedroom. The energy in the house is bad enough but outside in the back yard near the woods, it is just off the chain.
Recently some new folks moved into the neighborhood, and they know nothing of what goes on at the house we are working at. The other day, two teens from the new family that moved in were talking to our clients and mentioned that they thought their home was haunted as things were going on there. The clients did not mention their own haunt problems; they just listened and offered their polite sympathy to these two kids. I would not be surprised if we wind up at that home eventually, as a result of what is going on here. If this case follows the same pattern as Ghost central and the terrace case, we may find that several people are experiencing haunting on the same street.
I have many theories as to why this area seems to be so active but none I can say for sure to be the cause at this point. We are gearing up for another trip to Seapines very soon. We will probably have all hands on deck and conduct our investigation, in two teams working simultaneously inside and outside the property as we have before. It is our hope that we can resolve or at least calm down this paranormal hot spot for our clients. This case is proving to be a very challenging and enlightening endeavor for us. I have been in constant communication with the client, since we took this case. He has had some strange nightmares, or lucid dreams that may be related to the haunting. Two of my team members had these same kinds of dreams after we returned from the home one night. Both of these team members are strong males who are not usually prone to nightmares at all. The dreams are all very similar in nature and events. This too makes me wonder if this male spirit and two of his flunkies are somehow causing these dreams.
Almost all of my team members have either been threatened or insulted in the evps from this case. Some of the spirits there are real wise guys and like to make sarcastic and teasing comments. Others just threaten outright or curse like sailors at us. There is one younger sounding friendly female spirit there who gives us information about the malevolent ones present. She may very well be our best ally in trying to resolve this case. I will add to this article as events transpire. In the mean time this Seapines case may very well be our personal choice for the most haunted place to date, as of 2010.‘
