The Ghostly parrot repeaters and EVP

Over the years I have gotten severalevps from spirits that just seem to repeat what we say. Some of myfriends in the field report the same thing to me. I can not help butwonder why these evps seem to repeat the last one or two words thatwere spoken by the living people in attendance at the evp session. Itis not an echo because the voice is different and the inflection isusually different from the voice of the living person that spoke first.

I think in some cases where a name is repeated, it is possible that thespirit is repeating it, sort of like talking to themselves in order tomake a note of it. As in when a spirit said "Danielle" right after oneof us did. Perhaps he was saying her name and thinking, Ahh, so that isher name. But that is only one instance. We have other evps that repeatwords, such as one evp that repeats the words "May be useful", afterone of our team members comments about something and sais those exactwords.

In another I answered my husband when he asked me where thetape recorder was, and said "In my pocket" a few second later a ladywith a marked British accent says "In my pocket." Now perhaps in herday, tape recorders were far too large to fit in one's pocket and shewas making a comment of question or amazement? I don't know, but it isstrange.

At other times a spirit has repeated words that would haveno logical explanation in regard as to why they would want to repeatwhat was said. These are not mocking evps, as the inflection is justmonotone or matter of fact. I have some ideas as to why this happens,and would like to hear others thoughts on this as well. My thoughts are:

1.Do they do this because they are a human spirit trying to mimic andthereby remember the language, so they can speak to us, or want to hearthemselves to see if they can still speak or be heard?

2. Are these repeaters inhuman spirits trying to learn our speech or language by mimicry?

3.Isit possible that they are straining to hear us too, and possiblycommenting to another spirit, as to what they think is being said? Myteam members and I do this when we are reviewing evps, and say what wethink we hear to each other

4. Do they only repeat the last twowords of a phrase because that is all they are catching, of what we are saying due to the way sound filters through the veil and sometimes is lost?

What causes hostile hauntings?

After many years of working haunt cases I have seen manypatterns for true hostile haunt cases, and others for hauntings thatjust seem hostile but in reality are not. Let's take a look at the realhostile haunts first.

Revenge haunts:

This year we have seenthree revenge hauntings. These are hostile hauntings, where a spirit has an axe to grind and is hell bent on seeing it through. Spirits whohave been wronged sometimes do not move on. Some hang around and try toplay out their revenge from the other side. Some of these spirits mayhave a genuine reason for being so enraged, others may have imaginedreasons, and really don't have a real idea of what took place, theyjust want to blame someone, much like the living sometimes do. Either way it's all about unrest on some level.

Some spirits can bereasoned with and urged to move on, but others just refuse and whenthis happens it is hard to get them to abandon their campaign ofhaunting someone. Since we, as incarnates in this life do not holdultimate power over what happens here, let alone on the other side, weare sometimes unable to resolve these matters. I believe there arerules that govern these matters and we are not able to over ride themor even know the details of those rules for that matter.

Justice haunts:

These are spirits that haunt their murderers, or those they feel areresponsible for their death, or some other matter that was neverresolved, such as the details of their death, that they want to be madeknown. A spirit desperate to accomplish this, may be persistent, and goto extreme lengths to make their presence known, scaring the daylightsout of the people they try to make contact with.

Truly Evil entities:

These spirits haunt and torture the living just because they aredisgruntled or resentful, and sometimes just plain malevolent. A spiritdoes not have to be a demon or an imp, or anything non human, to be anevil spirit. Human ghosts are often responsible for about threequarters of evil hauntings.They sometimes attach to people they relateto, or those they want to use or live through, to achieve whatevertheir goal is. These kinds of spirits are not very common, and ususallyare as feared and disdained by other spirits as they are by the living.

In the cases I have seen with these kinds of spirits there is usuallyalso reports of a shadow man. I believe that this is because the shadowmen are soul harvesters who come like bounty hunters to try and haulthese evil spirits off to the realm where they belong. These cases alsooften feature IMPS that pose as children but in reality are non humanentities that take up with human ghosts and lend them their help increating havoc. This year I got to see my first IMP, though I haverecorded their voices for years and even got what I think may be aphoto of one. I have no idea exactly what these imps are, but they donot strike me as human at all. They also seem too easily intimidated tobe classified as demons, from what I have seen of them so far.

Allthree types of hauntings listed above, also seem to feature nightcrusher episodes, nightmares, and extreme physical activity. Theysometimes try to integrate with a living person and sometimes succeed.While all of these are perceived as hostile haunts by the victims ofthese spirits, the truly evil spirits are actually easier to banishthan the others. There is a fine line between what is truly evil, andwhat is just a desperate spirit with a serious cause. It takesdifferent approaches to deal with all three of these kinds of haunts,and some may never be resolved.

Then there is another kind ofhaunting called an "Infestation" haunt. This means several spirits areteamed together and pooling their energy to create extreme activity.Usually in a hostile haunt, there is one ring leader who may even beoppressing the others and forcing them to participate in his or heragenda. One thing is for sure, and that is that people do not like tobe alone, in this life or the next. years of cases have shown me thatwhere there is one spirit, there are usually others.

Rare is thesolitary spirit who spends all of his or her time alone. Sometimes Ihave even found two separate groups of spirits in the same place thatare not even in league with each other, but are more or less doingtheir own thing. In some cases they may clash with each other andextreme activity may be the result of that little ongoing war, betweenthem.

Next are other sometimes extreme, but not really hostile hauntings.

Suicide spirits:

These are people who committed suicide and do not want to cross overbecause they fear judgment on the other side or, they regret theirchoice and want to somehow regain their earthly life at any cost. Thereare many other reasons as well, such as feeling the pain, of what theyput their loved ones through and wanting so badly to let them know theyare there and they are sorry, and find a way to offer some kind ofclosure or resolution. Suicide spirits often hang around and try tointeract with the world they left behind. Sometimes they just want tostay in their old homes and cling to their earthly life that they tookfor granted before. Because they are having such a hurricane of emotionof all kinds, they can also be quite unstable, even angry andfrustrated and take it out on the living at times. If they find someonewho can see or hear them, such as a sensitive person or a young child,they may continue to try and interact with that person to hold on tosome connection to this world. No matter what the case suicides do notcross over easily most of the time. There are hundreds of possiblereasons and scenarios for them to linger.

Lost spirits:

Thesespirits are lost for whatever reason, and do not know where to go andhow to get there. Some may not realize they are dead, but more oftenthey are just staying in familiar territory and trying to do what theyalways did in their earthly life. They may not have been ready to go tothe next life and mourn their earthly existence to the point where theyjust want to stay here. Sometimes they want to cling to their lovedones still here on this plane. Whatever the case, they sometimes causeserious problems for the living who have to experience the unsettlingactivity that they cause.

Mischievous pranksters:

These are harmless spirits that just enjoy getting a rise out of us, and haunt for their own entertainment.

Theyare usually earthbound spirits who choose to stay in the realm of theliving and play around at our expense. Spirits like these are usuallypart of a small group of trouble makers, that work together to achievetheir mutual entertainment. These are some of the most common types ofspirits responsible for hauntings. They as a rule do not do any realharm, but are just out to get a rise out of us. If we don't give them areaction, they often move on to somewhere , where their efforts willnot be ignored. It is our reaction that they want and they thrive on.

Last but not least are the hauntings that come about as a result ofsomeone extending an invitation to those on the other side, to comeforth and interact with them. People do this in many ways, such asbreaking out the old Ouija board, playing parlor games, even bringingout a tape recorder and asking for spirit communication. Opening a dooris never agood idea, as there is no telling who or what will walkthrough it. Many an amateur ghost hunter have brought problems uponthemselves, by seeking out spirits at cemeteries and supposed hauntedlocations. Some spirits will follow you home and some resent theintrusion and will follow to retaliate. Provoking a spirit is anothersure fire way to get more than you bargained for or are ready to dealwith. These cases often turn out to be the worst kinds of hauntings.

The reasons for hostile haunts are endless, and I have only listed herethe most common that I have seen over the years. One thing I can tellyou is that the number of hostile cases has increased, in the last fouryears. I would like to hear your ideas concerning the possible reasonsfor this increase. I have my own theories but would love to hear others thoughts.

We know that allliving organisms on this earth from the tiniest one celled creature tothe largest fish or mammal are made up of cells. Each cell is a livingorganism in itself ,that memorizes its blueprint and regenerates andreplaces itself. Each creature has specific cells; each organ in itsbody has specific cells. The cell is a circular or spherical

form. All life begins with that spherical shape in some form.

For many years nowphotos have been showing these bright spherical orbs that baffle theparanormal community. Now most of these anomalies can be attributed todust particles, dirt on a camera lens, humidity and flash back from thecamera flash reflecting on a shiny surface. These are all well knownanomalies easily debunked by an experienced paranormal investigator,but what of the orb that seems to be so bright and

Gives off its own light? This is a quite differentanomaly for which we have no explanation. Some people think orbs arespirits in their most base form. Some are of the mind that they aresome form of energy, yet unknown to science, that only the camera cansee. The die hard skeptics just won?t acknowledge them as anythingparanormal whatsoever.

I find that orbs alwaysseem to be present more often than not when photos are taken insupposed haunted locations. I have seen them on video as well, movingabout erratically and at high speed. If this is just dust then it issome damned fast moving dust. Some orbs can be seen with the naked eye.Many case files show the same story from folks with hauntings, claimingthey have seen balls of light moving through their homes. I myself haveseen an orb the size of a baseball fly through my living room alongwith three other witnesses. It was bright blue, white and seemed tomove rather quickly through the room and then just circle and go backout through the door, it came in. What could this phenomenon be? No oneknows for sure right now but I have some theories or at least somepossible ideas.

If you zoom in on anorb it actually resembles a cell more than anything else. It seems tobe a round sphere made up of several smaller ones and glitters muchlike one of the old Disco balls they had in the dancehalls years ago.Cells split and become clusters of cells to form larger organisms inthe physical world of matter and all organic life.

What if amongst all thetiny physical cells in our body there is one very large special cellthat is our spirit? One of God's cells maybe, could every livingcreature have one of these as being a ray of God, as so many religionsfoster. Do these cells survive death with immortal life? Do they retainthe blueprint of the physical organisms they came from and are theyable to organize to produce apparitions or astral bodies of thatorganism? The things we see when we see ghosts? Is a human aura thelight emanated from this cell we call our soul or spirit?

It is believed that energy can not really die but just takes on a new form. Therefore,

The spirit, if it is some form of pure energy, maychange form or return to its original form after the physical bodydies. I do find this to be a feasible notion.

The Kabbalah says "Asabove, so Below." this can apply to many things, does it apply to lifeforms? Is this why we are made in God's image, not so much physicallybut in these cells that may all be part of him. Maybe that's how he haseyes everywhere. Maybe we are his eyes and don?t even know it.

Tome, this theory is plausible from both a religious and scientificstandpoint. Until we obtain more conclusive evidence as to what orbsare, we can not classify them as anything other than unknown phenomenon.

Advice for aspiring ghosthunters....

Advice for future or would be ghosthunters……..

Quite often people ask me for adviceabout getting into the paranormal field. By this they mean “Ghost hunting.”Everyone wants to be a ghost hunter. There are thousands of teams popping upall over the country, since the TAPS show hit the air a few years back. Thereality shows are entertaining for someI guess, even though they never seem to pack any real thrills. They alsoprovide a booming fad industry for the paracelebrities, and the network thatsponsors them. But what are they really doing to further progress in thisfield? Have they gotten any real irrefutable proof of anything? Do they poseany heavy or spiritual questions to spirits? Do they offer any advancement tothe study of spirit return? Has anythingnew been introduced other than new tech equipment for people to go out and buyto be like the guys on the show? Theysometimes get an evp here or there, and some fuzzy shadows on tape. Anythingabove that is suspect to television magic, to increase ratings.

Dabbling in the paranormal is not as yousee on TV. All the tech equipment and a printed T shirt, does not get youanywhere with the spirit world, in fact it has the opposite effect. You willeither be ignored or be messed with by some not so friendly spirits, out tomake a fool of you, and who could blame them? Most of the spirit entities thatwe call ghosts are people that have passed into the next world. If there is anext world then there obviously has to be a God. Someone or something gave usimmortal spirit then. Haunting a spirit in that sense, is a very audacious andeven sacrilegious thing to do. I do not even like the term “ghosthunter” forthis reason. I am not now, nor have Iever been a ghosthunter. I am a haunts resolutionist. I do not go looking forghosts to harass, in order to get some note worthy piece of evidence. I go outto help the haunted and the spirits that are doing the haunting, as theyusually always have a reason. If I get some astounding evidence along the way,I share it with others. How you fare in seeking to learn about spirit dependslargely on your agenda. I can get 20 ormore evps on a case, most of the time. This is because the spirits know why Iam there and that I am not some curious, ghost hunter, out for fame and fortuneor some entertainment. I do not have cameras trailing me around for somefrivolous TV show, and am not dressed up like some member of a swat team. Istarted this 31 years ago for a higher calling, than making a name for myselfor getting on TV. I do not give a damn about notoriety or making the front pageof the paper. I care about people, living and deceased and the things I canlearn in my journey.

When I got into this field, there were noparacelebrities, in fact few people even worked in the field at all. There was no rivalry or ill will among thosethat did work in the field. We all had pretty much the same idea and the samegoals. We had a healthy respect forspirit and for each other. There was no money to be made with paid ghost hunts,or paracelebrity events. We had no desire for these things, as they are shallowendeavors. Now, the ghost hunting crazehas reached ridiculous proportions. There are more ghost hunters than there are ghosts these days. They arehitting the cemeteries and old buildings in droves, like invading stormtroopers, with their cameras, their supposed high tech equipment and disturbingwhat were formerly the peaceful places for spirits to swell in the realm ofdark and quiet. Respect for the dead has become a thing of the past. Would beteen ghost hunters are partying at cemeteries and littering and making a messwith liquor bottles, beer cans, and other trash. Ghost hunters provoke spiritswhen they do not get the response they seek. This is another bad idea. Just asin life, they will eventually pick the wrong spirit and then the realities ofthe dangers of the paranormal become apparent.

Ask yourself why…you want to become a “ghosthunter”. Is it to emulateyour hero on TV. They are not bravesouls, they are making a television show with an entire production crew in tow,most of the time. They are second rate actors who get paid to make the show foryou to watch. They go out and harass and even try to bully the spirit world,for money and personal fame. Is this your idea of a hero? Do you think ghosthunting is cool? Fun? Do you think it makes you unique? NOT ANYMORE! Everyoneand their brother have jumped on the fad, like sheep following the trend. Ifyou want to get into the field to help people, or find some real spiritualproof to help people believe in the afterlife, and find their way back to aspiritual mind set, which is rare these days…then you might be OK. If you havewhat it takes to actually help people who are having problems with bad spirits,than have at it. Do you even know what that is? Do you think some course indemonology, or some ghost hunter 101 certificate gives you the ability to gointo battle with a spirit? If you do then you are buying into the craze and allthe hype it serves up to part you with your money, for these courses. In order to have any chance of winning theday against a spirit that is wreaking havoc, you have to have personal,unshakeable, spiritual faith and energy. It does not come from any specific type ofreligious belief, so don’t misunderstand and think I am bible thumping here.You can be very religious and still have deep, down, fear and doubt. You haveto develop a level of awareness that cannot be taught in any course on theinternet or otherwise. Most of all youhave to be solid in your calling, to work in the field for the best possiblereasons. Any other agenda, will just lead you into trouble. You will eventuallyget what you ask for, and it may not be what you wanted at all. I offer you thefamous quote…”As you gaze into the Abyss, the Abyss also gazes into you and onewho “hunts” the monsters, becomes a monster too.” Don’t become a “Ghosthunter.”Don’t be a sheep, as you know the traditional place where sheep end up. Thereis surely some bad ghost out there who would love to have you for dinner. Trustme, I have met quite a dew, over the years. I even have an evp that says “Igotta eat!” One of my team members had a really harrowing experienceimmediately after that.

Now you can hate me, and say I am a selfrighteous, hypocrite because I do something, that I tell others not to getinvolved in. I just will not encourage anyone, to go out and open doors thatthey can’t close, that may hurt not only them, but others in the process. Theghost hunting craze is causing more and more hostile haunting, and in the endwill come to no good whatsoever. The realm of spirit is God’s world, and thatworld cannot be measured with our gadgets, in our frivolous curiosity, or ourdesire to be “cool.” In that world we are way out of our league, my friends. Remember in the progression of evolution,every organism from the mineral to the animal to the human is a constantprogression to a more sentient and powerful life form. What makes you think thenext life does not follow that same rule. When we die, we move a step up on the scale, to a higher life form. Thatconsidered, then it makes sense to assume, that we are inferior to those thatwe choose to hunt as a ghost hunter. You had better have some real friends inthe higher realms to protect you when you get into trouble, as with spiritsfrom the next world you are outclassed. I hope that some people think aboutwhat I have written here and think seriously about the hobby of “ghosthunting.”

WHAT IS THE SHADOW MAN?

What is the shadow man?

Now when we say shadow man,we are not talking about shadow ghosts. We are referring to a solid black form that you cannot see through, that usually appears to have long legs and square shoulders and is very tall. From what I understand many people have seen this phenomenon, including myself. Mike Wall wrote a book about it titled "The Gatherers". I have heard many people's theories on the shadow man. Some say it is an interdimensional being as yet unknown to us. Mike Forte of IPPO thinks they are what he calls soul harvesters that come to collect the souls of those who have overstayed their time on this plane as ghosts. Some say the Shadow man is a soul harvester that comes to collect bad or awol spirits or entities who cause problems for the living or break the rules.

Some people think they are demons by virtue of their solid blackness rather than a light being that radiates white light. Some folks even think they might be an alien manifestation. As for myself,I have no clue what they are but from what I have experienced I did notice that unlike shadow ghosts or other apparitions they seem to hang around longer, for minutes at a time rather than vanishing quickly when you go to take a second look.What do you think,we would like to hear everyone's ideas on this.

I have had two experiences with a shadow man and neither was menacing or in any way threatening, just unsettling.
