PARANORMAL REALITY SHOWS

The paranormal craze that has been going on for the past few years started with the TV ghost hunting reality shows. There are many of them on the air nowadays. Perhaps too many. They are entertaining to a point and some play up the drama a bit, but none of them present an accurate vision of what goes on in this field. The reality shows are basically, far from the reality of real paranormal investigation. They make it look like something that is fun and easy and safe. It is not always any of those things. There are dangers to ghost hunting. It should not be viewed as a "hobby", or an outlet for amusement.

The real and serious paranormal researchers started out not just to prove the existence of spirit but also to help those being haunted, who were afraid and wanting relief from the situation. The people who have dedicated their lives to that cause are seldom seen on TV shows, especially reality shows. they are not seeking notoriety, or celebrity. They are not looking to hob nob with TV celebrities, as they have a higher and more serious calling in the field. Hans Holtzer was the father of the paranormal field. He had more years in than anyone and wrote more books on the topic than anyone. How often do you hear his name come up on any of these reality shows? He was a "real" researcher who seldom sought out the attention of the media. He was more interested in being out in the field doing his work. He was and is a legend in this field, yet how often do you hear his name come up? He passed away not too long ago and is probably looking at all this hype from the other side, with one eyebrow cocked up and shaking his head.

There may be many reality shows but there is a serious shortage of true documentaries on the paranormal. Why is that? It may be because the people in the field who have the real experience and have made real discoveries are so disgusted with the whole circus, that they do not want any part of it. It may be that real documentaries cost more to make than reality shows, and reality shows are all the rage right now. I think the real reason is that real researchers in this field know, that though they can go into a case and get 32 or whatever number of EVPS and other evidence on numerous occasions, that they will not get it with a TV crew in tow. This is because some things are not meant to be exploited. this is because the spirits of the next world prefer to keep their communications on a personal and more sacred level, and do not want to be part of anyone's cash cow for mass entertainment. Whatever the case, real documentaries on the subject are just not that common. If you would like to watch some intriguing paranormal shows, whether documentaries or shared experience, here is alist of some you should catch.

Children of the grave by the Booth Brothers

Old episodes of "the Haunting"

Celebrity Ghost stories

Ghostly encounters

PARANORMAL HYSTERIA A GROWING TREND

Since the advent of all the TV shows about paranormal entities and ghost hunting, a wave of paranormal hysteria has come about. things that people once ignored or passed off as insignificant, they are now attributing to spirit activity. The simple truth is, you can not believe everything you see and hear on TV. Many ideas that are long outdated are being presented still today. Such as, the idea that any black shadow entity is evil, simply by virtue of the fact that it is black in color. This comes from the old "black is evil" and "white is good" idea. Spirits can appear in many forms. Not every shadow is a spirit. Not every black form is a demon, and. not every spirit that seems to linger, on what we consider to be the plane of the living, is lost, or up to no good. What do we really know about these supposed planes anyway?
It is amazing to me, that with all the current interest and research into this field, that people are still sticking to some of the old, and long outdated theories that the field presents, on a regular basis. There are strides being made by many in this field, but you never hear about this on TV. This is because most TV shows are made for entertainment and ratings, not always for education. To present shows that really educate on the things we have discovered in the field, would be risky at best. Some of these discoveries may challenge long held, religious beliefs for some people and validate some for others. Religion is a touchy thing but even more touchy, is the attitude of the scientific community, most of which, still do not want to acknowledge a world, that they can not measure with their instruments or explain comfortably.

If science were to acknowledge that there is an immortal spirit within us that lives on after death, they might also have to acknowledge the existence of a higher power, which takes things into a whole new territory.

Perhaps it is better, to have shows that promote the idea, that belief in the paranormal, or spirits in general, is just so much fantasy and or hysteria. To cast paranormal science in a frivolous light, is easier than to admit that in spite of our technological advancement, we are really still very uninformed and unaware of the basic stuff of which we are made, as far as energy or anything beyond the realm of the physical body.

In spite of everything we know about the physical body there is still so much we don't know. The brain is something that is still largely a mystery to us, on many levels. How much more so of a mystery then, would the soul be? As far as mental intelligence goes, man may be very advanced, but in spiritual intelligence, we are still in our infancy. To a creature, as vain and given to megalomania as man, that is not a comfortable position, so still we stay in the dark. Because we are comfortable there.

CHILD SENSITIVES AND THE NEED FOR SHIELDING

A recent case has brought to my attention once again the importance of addressing this topic. There are many children who have sensitive abilities and may not even know it. They are the prime targets for spirits seeking to communicate or even just make their presence known for good or ill. These kids sometimes have a real hard time. If the child is afraid of spirits then the gift becomes a curse that keeps them in continual terror with no where to turn for help. Many people who become aware that their child is a sensitive will encourage them to develop that gift which in some cases is fine, but it might not always be the best thing to do. With kids who are fearful of the spirit world, the best thing may very well be to teach them how to turn off that ability, at least until they are old enough to handle the strain of what comes along with the gift.
I have a case right now which involves a 13 year old girl. this girl is what I believe to be a sensitive and has been seeing and hearing spirits since she was very young. It started as what she thought was a friend, and then others came and as the years went by, this supposed "friend" turned very scary and aggressive. This happens a lot with this kind of spirit attachment. Imaginary friends are something that kids often make up so parents usually do not worry about them. However, when the friend is a man of about 25, and has been communicating with a child for 4 years, I would say that might not be the usual imaginary friend. Now, this family moved into a new neighborhood about a year ago and the "friend" came with, and started to get a bit hostile. Then spirits from the area there, joined in the haunt and now, this poor kid is terrified. Others in the household are hearing ans seeing things too and things are very bad right now.

This poor kid sleeps on the sofa right outside her parent's door, because she is afraid to be in her room, even though her older sister shares the room. She still does not feel safe. This girl, because of her sensitivity has become the focus of spirits that want something or simply want her energy or what have you. We are returning to this case tomorrow night to spend some time with this girl and try and teach her how to shield herself from the consistent onslaught of spirits every night, that seek to disturb her. The biggest problem for all people let alone a child, is to learn to stop being afraid and stop giving a predatory entity their "fear fix." This is one of the hardest things to do here. Both Alexis and I, knowing what it is like to be in this child's position will try to help her to get through it and learn to shield herself. One of my team members Ryan, lives five minutes from these folks and he will be on call if anything else happens after the cleansing we plan to do also, tomorrow night. It may give the clients some solace to know that he is nearby and can be there in five minutes should something start up again. Perhaps this case like some others we had, is going to be a matter of wills, and persistence, to resolve.

The area where this case is, happens to be a notorious haunted spot, which is unlucky for this poor kid. There are many kids like her out there, and we really need to make the effort to help with this kind of thing. This kind of counseling could help so many kids like this one. Very few paranormal teams even acknowledge "sensitivity" let alone try to help along these lines. I think this is something we need to start taking more seriously and learn as much about it as we can, in order to help children and even adults in this predicament. Many children are sensitive to spirit until the age of about 7, when the demands and the distractions of school and the material world become their main focus, shutting down that inborn sentience. Some people literally grow out of it and some don't. For some that door stays open and they are sensitives for all of their life. People like this are magnets for spirits and spirit activity. Many hauntings take place because of the spirits' attraction to people like this. In reality there are more haunted people, than there are haunted houses.

WHAT CAUSES HOSTILE HAUNTINGS?

After many years of working haunt cases I have seen many patterns for true hostile haunt cases, and others for hauntings that just seem hostile but in reality are not. Let's take a look at the real hostile haunts first.
Revenge haunts:
This year we have seen three revenge hauntings. These are hostile hauntings, where a spirit has an axe to grind and is hell bent on seeing it through. Spirits who have been wronged sometimes do not move on. Some hang around and try to play out their revenge from the other side. Some of these spirits may have a genuine reason for being so enraged, others may have imagined reasons, and really don't have a real idea of what took place, they just want to blame someone, much like the living sometimes do. Either way it's all about unrest on some level.
Some spirits can be reasoned with and urged to move on, but others just refuse and when this happens it is hard to get them to abandon their campaign of haunting someone. Since we, as incarnates in this life do not hold ultimate power over what happens here, let alone on the other side, we are sometimes unable to resolve these matters. I believe there are rules that govern these matters and we are not able to over ride them or even know the details of those rules for that matter.
Justice haunts:
These are spirits that haunt their murderers, or those they feel are responsible for their death, or some other matter that was never resolved, such as the details of their death, that they want to be made known. A spirit desperate to accomplish this, may be persistent, and go to extreme lengths to make their presence known, scaring the daylights out of the people they try to make contact with.
Truly Evil entities:
These spirits haunt and torture the living just because they are disgruntled or resentful, and sometimes just plain malevolent. A spirit does not have to be a demon or an imp, or anything non human, to be an evil spirit. Human ghosts are often responsible for about three quarters of evil hauntings. They sometimes attach to people they relate to, or those they want to use or live through, to achieve whatever their goal is. These kinds of spirits are not very common, and ususally are as feared and disdained by other spirits as they are by the living.
In the cases I have seen with these kinds of spirits there is usually also reports of a shadow man. I believe that this is because the shadow men are soul harvesters who come like bounty hunters to try and haul these evil spirits off to the realm where they belong. These cases also often feature IMPS that pose as children but in reality are non human entities that take up with human ghosts and lend them their help in creating havoc. This year I got to see my first IMP, though I have recorded their voices for years and even got what I think may be a photo of one. I have no idea exactly what these imps are, but they do not strike me as human at all. They also seem too easily intimidated to be classified as demons, from what I have seen of them so far.
All three types of hauntings listed above, also seem to feature night crusher episodes, nightmares, and extreme physical activity. They sometimes try to integrate with a living person and sometimes succeed. While all of these are perceived as hostile haunts by the victims of these spirits, the truly evil spirits are actually easier to banish than the others. There is a fine line between what is truly evil, and what is just a desperate spirit with a serious cause. It takes different approaches to deal with all three of these kinds of haunts, and some may never be resolved.
Then there is another kind of haunting called an "Infestation" haunt. This means several spirits are teamed together and pooling their energy to create extreme activity. Usually in a hostile haunt, there is one ring leader who may even be oppressing the others and forcing them to participate in his or her agenda. One thing is for sure, and that is that people do not like to be alone, in this life or the next. years of cases have shown me that where there is one spirit, there are usually others.
Rare is the solitary spirit who spends all of his or her time alone. Sometimes I have even found two separate groups of spirits in the same place that are not even in league with each other, but are more or less doing their own thing. In some cases they may clash with each other and extreme activity may be the result of that little ongoing war, between them.

Next are other sometimes extreme, but not really hostile hauntings.
Suicide spirits:
These are people who committed suicide and do not want to cross over because they fear judgment on the other side or, they regret their choice and want to somehow regain their earthly life at any cost. There are many other reasons as well, such as feeling the pain, of what they put their loved ones through and wanting so badly to let them know they are there and they are sorry, and find a way to offer some kind of closure or resolution. Suicide spirits often hang around and try to interact with the world they left behind. Sometimes they just want to stay in their old homes and cling to their earthly life that they took for granted before. Because they are having such a hurricane of emotion of all kinds, they can also be quite unstable, even angry and frustrated and take it out on the living at times. If they find someone who can see or hear them, such as a sensitive person or a young child, they may continue to try and interact with that person to hold on to some connection to this world. No matter what the case suicides do not cross over easily most of the time. There are hundreds of possible reasons and scenarios for them to linger.
Lost spirits:
These spirits are lost for whatever reason, and do not know where to go and how to get there. Some may not realize they are dead, but more often they are just staying in familiar territory and trying to do what they always did in their earthly life. They may not have been ready to go to the next life and mourn their earthly existence to the point where they just want to stay here. Sometimes they want to cling to their loved ones still here on this plane. Whatever the case, they sometimes cause serious problems for the living who have to experience the unsettling activity that they cause.
Mischievous pranksters:
These are harmless spirits that just enjoy getting a rise out of us, and haunt for their own entertainment.
They are usually earthbound spirits who choose to stay in the realm of the living and play around at our expense. Spirits like these are usually part of a small group of trouble makers, that work together to achieve their mutual entertainment. These are some of the most common types of spirits responsible for hauntings. They as a rule do not do any real harm, but are just out to get a rise out of us. If we don't give them a reaction, they often move on to somewhere , where their efforts will not be ignored. It is our reaction that they want and they thrive on.
Last but not least are the hauntings that come about as a result of someone extending an invitation to those on the other side, to come forth and interact with them. People do this in many ways, such as breaking out the old Ouija board, playing parlor games, even bringing out a tape recorder and asking for spirit communication. Opening a door is never agood idea, as there is no telling who or what will walk through it. Many an amateur ghost hunter have brought problems upon themselves, by seeking out spirits at cemeteries and supposed haunted locations. Some spirits will follow you home and some resent the intrusion and will follow to retaliate. Provoking a spirit is another sure fire way to get more than you bargained for or are ready to deal with. These cases often turn out to be the worst kinds of hauntings.
The reasons for hostile haunts are endless, and I have only listed here the most common that I have seen over the years. One thing I can tell you is that the number of hostile cases has increased, in the last four years.

Some food for thought on ghosthunting

It seems to be a universal concept among religions of the world, that we are of immortal spirit. God, whoever that may be or whatever we call him or her, supposedly gave us that immortal spirit. We should hold reverence for life, this one and the next and respect all things spiritual and sacred etc. I am one of those old fashioned types who believes in the Creator and that he did indeed, give us an immortal spirit. Because of my belief system, I tend to think that we are showing some real disrespect to the creator and the spirit world as well, these days. I do not think, that we are not meant to interact with the world of spirits in the next life, but I do think, it should be viewed as a spiritual thing and not a mode of entertainment, or some frivolous adventure.
I don't think it was ever supposed to be a recreational pastime where money exchanges hands and people then invade the place to look for and harass spirits. I think that this is a very bad trend and that it may have some serious ramifications for us on a spiritual level. There have always been people who communicated with the dead, but it was at one time a spiritual endeavor and not a profession for monetary gain, or a hunt for random spirits, in order to entertain ourselves, or satisfy our need to know everything and measure everything with our science.
Years ago we held grave sites sacred and considered it sacrilege to disturb them. We prayed for those who passed over and revered them. Communication from the dead to the living was considered rare and a gift in a way, that we did not take lightly or with blatant disregard. Now it has become the latest and most prolific form of entertainment. It has become big business!
Just think about that for a moment. People pay to go on these organized ghost hunts at places like the Waverly, in hopes of having an experience with a spirit. Some do it for entertainment, some to try and find some proof of our afterlife existence, that would serve to validate their faith in the afterlife and all things spiritual. No matter what the purpose a person has for doing this, it is still an uninvited harassment to the spirits that dwell in that space. What of those who do have an experience at one of these events? Does it serve to validate their faith and provide a revelation that makes them view life differently and really change the way they govern their lives? Or, does it just serve as a cheap thrill that they will pay for and return to recapture again and again?
What happened at the Waverly was a real life nightmare for the people who died there. Are we honoring them and their spirits by selling tickets to go in and rehash it all for them? Or are we disturbing them and their right to peace? At the bottom line of this sort of thing is money, for the people who organize and exploit these places and the spirits who dwell there. Should we be exploiting the dead? Does this seem like something God had intended for us to do? We have never really had a need to "hunt" the dead, as if they want to communicate with us they find a way. Sometimes it is benevolent and sometimes it is hostile but from the dawn of time, man has been aware of the presence of spirit around him. Some have been fascinated by spirits, some have a real fear of them and now more than ever, some just pass it off as the imagination and hysteria of ignorant and primitive minded people. Some seek only to debunk and disprove it so they can go on trying to convince others that there is no higher power than man and that this life is all there is.
I think the current craze with the paranormal has come about for many reasons. One of those reasons, may very well be society's desire, to get back to spiritual concerns at a time when things have become very bad and people actually fear the end of the world by our own hands. Maybe people are looking for a reason to believe, in a God that could somehow save us if we change our ways. Sadly, it seems more apparent to me that the craze is booming because it is being taken as a source of entertainment that packs the ultimate thrill. This is what really bothers me the most. Now we even have many classes being offered to teach people how to go out and hunt the dead. What? I am inclined to think that in this life, we are supposed to be concentrating more on living this life ,rather than spending all our time trying to delve into the next one. How much is too much when it comes to this craze? We have psychic mediums who charge hundreds of dollars to help us connect with our dead relatives, and we pay it, out of desperation and naivety. Again money comes into play, no surprise.
When I started delving into the paranormal seeking answers for what I went through with a bad haunt back in New Jersey, back in 1974, hauntings were pretty rare. given that fact there was not much information out there about this phenomenon. I figured out that the best means of resolving my problem was to treat the entity like a person and try communicating and reasoning with her. This actually, in time worked and the experience with this lady went from a nightmare of tremendous proportion to a peaceful and even beneficial relationship. I learned early on that ghosts were still people and responded very well, to the same methods used to deal with people. I took a very human approach to a supernatural situation and still do so to this day.
There are some people who will say I am a hypocrite to criticize the paranormal field since I am a paranormal investigator myself. As I have said many times, I am not a ghosthunter, never have been. I go out to help those who are having a problem with spirits in their home. I go out as a mediator, a counselor and even a detective of sorts. I try to find out who is seeking to interact and why, and then try to proceed from there to resolve the problem for both sides. When a spirit reaches out to people on this plane there is always a reason. Sometimes important information is being relayed, or some one is in need of something to find closure on some level, whether it be the living or the dead person, involved. I do not book or even attend ghost hunts for the sake of entertainment.
I have noticed in the past five years that hauntings seem to have increased. I believe in the idea, that what goes on on this plane reflects and affects what goes on , on the next as well. The more we reach out to those on the other side with this current fad, the more that some, on the other side will seek to do the same with us. Unfortunately some of those who have decided to reach out and join the game are not the most elevated spirits in the first place, and shallow endeavors attract shallow companions. Many of the spirits who are haunting these days are doing so out of the desire to cling to this world and interact with it, in the same frivolous or entertaining manner as we are, in our efforts to interact with them. This is not necessarily a good thing, for all concerned. More elevated and enlightened spirits have a higher agenda than just playing with us. So, most of the spirits who do seek to play our game are not the most benevolent or enlightened people, and sometimes they are the most rancid members of the other world. So to those who seek out ghosts and spirits, I offer the old adage.."Be careful what you wish for."
I think we need to sit back and reevaluate our stand on the paranormal craze. If we are seeking spirit in earnest for spiritual purpose then we should know that if we are to be gifted with a communication from the other side that it will be and should be a spiritual thing. a sacred thing, something to be respected and appreciated with a humble gratitude. It is certainly not something you can buy tickets to, or attain for any price, anywhere. I am not saying that people should not seek answers to the afterlife or seek to communicate with their loved ones. What I am saying is that the craze which has come about is a bad thing, from a spiritual standpoint and that directly because of that condition, no real learning or enlightenment will come of it. Everyone who buys tickets to ghost hunts and such keeps that craze alive and keeps the shallow movement of that practice alive. In the end there will a be a price to pay for this movement of disrespect and immoral commercialism Do you really want to be a part of that? The shows on TV nowadays are billed as "reality" shows.. I think they serve to show the reality of our spiritual decline as a society, and maybe a reality check of how far we have fallen from any reverence for the very thing that is our essence. They certainly are not representative of the reality of the spirit world I have seen, nor what actually goes on with it. They are about paracelebrities, and they promote events that make money. They are not documentaries, and are offering no real answers to anything concerning the afterlife. After all, the afterlife is God's territory and the Tv stations nor the media, hold no sway there whatsoever.
Let's put a stop to the craze and get back to really seeking answers for the sake of spiritual advancement rather than shallow entertainment or egotisical science advances. The veil "is" thinning folks and it is our doing. With all this talk about the end of days, and all the ways and reasons it may come about, this may very well be one of our biggest and most audacious trespasses to date, that may very well contribute to our own downfall. Just food for thought....

Myself and many others have spoken out about the dangers of encouraging kids to ghost hunt, with kid ghost hunting shows, like the one on Cartoon Network. Some people think we are all just party poopers who like to complain and criticize. Stories like this one which I found on the net today, only exemplify the reasons why some of us in the field feel that children should not be encouraged to join the craze and take up this new form of hobby. I think this girl's parents would agree with myself and the others who want the TV programming to take more seriously what they promote. It is the nature of kids to want to try things themselves that seem to be the current fad. When it comes to ghosthunting, that can turn out to be a dangerous thing. Even if you set aside the possible paranormal implications of danger, the danger that exists from the living is more volatile, for kids who go out to deserted places, old houses, cemeteries etc. at night to look for ghosts. Some of these kids who get the idea to go out and look for ghosts may end up ghosts themselves. This is just one of many stories where kids have wound up in trouble or worse, by ghost hunting.
Some people in this field have even started junior ghost hunting groups for kids, and more teen ghost hunter shows are being considered for programming as you read this. next time you see a petition to stop the kids ghost hunt shows, think about this Girl in the story below. Better yet, think about the safety of your own child, and where this kind of curiosity can lead them.Getting shot for trespassing is just one thing, getting raped or kidnapped and killed in a dark deserted cemetery is another. This has happened as well. Falling through the floorboards of a rotting old house, and breaking their necks is yet another. Maybe you might sign the next one. Please read this tragic story, and give it some thought.
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

WORTHINGTON, Ohio - A teenager out looking for ghosts with friends was
shot in the head and critically wounded near a house considered spooky
by local teens, police said Wednesday.

A man who lives in the house, Allen S. Davis, 40, was charged in the
shooting and told reporters Wednesday from jail that he was trying to
drive off trespassers and didn't intend to hurt the teen girls, whom he
called juvenile delinquents.

He said he fired his rifle out his bedroom window Tuesday night after
hearing voices outside the home, which is across the street from a
cemetery and blocked from view by overgrown trees and shrubbery.

"I didn't know what their weaponry was, what their intentions were," he
said. "In a situation like that, you assume the worst-case scenario if
you're going to protect your family from a possible home invasion and
murder."

The 17-year-old girl, Rachel Barezinsky, and two of her friends got out
of their car parked near the home about 10 p.m. and took a few steps on
the property, police Lt. Doug Francis said. They jumped back in when a
girl in the car sounded the horn, and they heard what they thought were
firecrackers as they drove away.

The girls - all seniors at Thomas Worthington High School in suburban
Columbus - drove around the block, and Barezinsky was struck while
sitting in the car as they passed the house again and heard a second
round of what turned out to be gunshots, Francis said.

Davis, a self-employed nonfiction writer, said he had prepared the rifle
after numerous previous instances of trespassing, but he didn't know
until Wednesday that teens considered his house haunted. Police should
charge the teens with trespassing, he said.

"It's really something how homeowners defend themselves and the way the
laws are written, we're the ones brought up on charges while the
perpetrators get little or nothing."

Francis said police do not intend to pursue criminal charges against the
girls at this point.

As the girls' car drove away from the house, the driver noticed she had
blood on her arm and passengers in the back seat also discovered blood,
police said. They saw Barezinsky had collapsed in the front passenger's
seat and drove until they could flag down two police officers. The other
girls were not injured.

Some classmates at the high school, which has about 1,700 students, were
planning a vigil Wednesday night at the football stadium.

Principal Rich Littell said he had talked to Barezinsky, a well-known
cheerleader, at a freshman welcome dance on Monday night.

"It just kills you. She's a great kid, very, very athletic. She was
looking forward to ... the tumbling she was going to do at the football
game," he said.

Davis, who was charged with five counts of felonious assault, told
officers he had been annoyed by trespassers and that he was aiming for
the car's tires from his first-floor bedroom, police said.

"He admitted to never calling the police, but it just had been occurring
and he got frustrated and he was upset, saying someone trespassed on his
property and he was protecting his property," Francis said.

Barezinsky, who also was struck in the shoulder, was taken to Ohio State
University Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The hospital would not provide an update on her condition Wednesday.

Francis said Davis' home had a reputation at the high school for being
haunted by ghosts and witches, and students have been daring each other
to knock on the door or go in the yard.

Zoning officers have visited the home where Davis lives with his
64-year-old mother because of complaints that the property has not been
kept up, police said.

Betty Davis, 69, who lives around the corner, said Allen Davis was quiet
and kept to himself. She said she's not related to him.

"I guess last night was the last straw," she said.

"I think it blew everybody's mind it would come to this."

WHAT IS A HUMAN GHOST CAPABLE OF?

What is the power limit of the human ghost

Awhile back I got into a debate with someone else in the field about the limits of a human ghost. Some people follow the school of thought that, a human ghost can only do so much, and that certain kinds of extreme activity can only be the work of a demon. Well over the years I have not seen a demon, but I have dealt with many human ghosts and some of the activity they can pull off is quite impressive. When a ghost teams up with other ghosts or some other entity that increases their ability to perform some amazing feats. Then there are occasions where IMPS take up with human spirits. IMPS are basically groupies that take up with a ghost and join in the agenda for chaos and mischief.
Some of the extreme activity that is credited to demons, can be, and most times is in reality, the work of human ghosts. Here is a list of activity that ghosts can pull off, either alone or with a little help from their friends. This list is compiled from things that have taken place in hauntings, and in both my own experience and that of some of the cases I have worked on.

A HUMAN GHOST CAN:

1. Show itself in any form it chooses, from appearing solid to vaporous to shadow figures, and the way they looked, at any age during their corporeal life.

2. Be if it chooses to be a predatory entity that feeds on human energy and other energy sources.

3. Physically touch you and even scratch, bite, and push you if it has the sufficient amount of energy to expend at the time, in order to perform that physical feat. Most ghosts do not have this kind of energy available to them but well fed ones are another story. Most ghosts go for the easy route, to touch you, such as touching your hair as it is easily felt when your hair moves. Luckily most ghosts do not attack people in a painful way, but it does happen on occasion.

4. Integrate with a living person, given the right circumstances and influence their thoughts and feelings, and even their actions, should the integration be severe enough.

5. Affect electronic devices of all kinds, especially the delicate digital things we have nowadays, and blow out light bulbs. At one case, a ghost shut down the power in the apartment, without affecting the other apartments in the building. Of course this ghost had two IMPS in attendance to lend a helping hand.

6. Make noise of all kinds and even talk out loud if it can project well enough.

7. Move physical objects of small size and weight by itself and larger objects with help by pooling their energy with other ghosts.

8. Maintain emotions and personality well into the next life which determines their disposition as a spirit.

9. Actually cause water droplets which fall on your skin or on your head etc., out of thin air. yes, this is actually a common thing with ghosts. I have experienced this myself on more than one occasion.

10. Cause a burning sensation and a rash or mark, where they touch you if they so desire. They also can cause an intense cold sensation and do this more often.

11. Keep you up all night, simply by projecting their energy or messing with your head. Ghosts can cause insomnia. This is because we all have a latent psychic sense that makes us edgy when their energy is present or focusing on us.

12. Blow out and relight a candle. They can only light it again, if it was just recently lit prior as it does not take much to reignite it in that case.

To be continued.....

The Ghostly parrot repeaters and EVP

Over the years I have gotten several evps from spirits that just seem to repeat what we say. Some of my friends in the field report the same thing to me. I can not help but wonder why these evps seem to repeat the last one or two words that were spoken by the living people in attendance at the evp session. Itis not an echo because the voice is different and the inflection is usually different from the voice of the living person that spoke first.

I think in some cases where a name is repeated, it is possible that the spirit is repeating it, sort of like talking to themselves in order tomake a note of it. As in when a spirit said "Danielle" right after one of us did. Perhaps he was saying her name and thinking, Ahh, so that is her name. But that is only one instance. We have other evps that repeat words, such as one evp that repeats the words "May be useful", afterone of our team members comments about something and sais those exact words.

In another I answered my husband when he asked me where the tape recorder was, and said "In my pocket" a few second later a lady with a marked British accent says "In my pocket." Now perhaps in her day, tape recorders were far too large to fit in one's pocket and she was making a comment of question or amazement? I don't know, but it is strange.

At other times a spirit has repeated words that would have no logical explanation in regard as to why they would want to repeat what was said. These are not mocking evps, as the inflection is just monotone or matter of fact. I have some ideas as to why this happens, and would like to hear others thoughts on this as well. My thoughts are:

1.Do they do this because they are a human spirit trying to mimic and thereby remember the language, so they can speak to us, or want to hear themselves to see if they can still speak or be heard?

2. Are these repeaters inhuman spirits trying to learn our speech or language by mimicry?

3.Isit possible that they are straining to hear us too, and possiblycommenting to another spirit, as to what they think is being said? My team members and I do this when we are reviewing evps, and say what we think we hear to each other

4. Do they only repeat the last two words of a phrase because that is all they are catching, of what we are saying due to the way sound filters through the veil and sometimes is lost?

What causes hostile hauntings?

After many years of working haunt cases I have seen many patterns for true hostile haunt cases, and others for hauntings thatjust seem hostile but in reality are not. Let's take a look at the realhostile haunts first.

Revenge haunts:

This year we have seenthree revenge hauntings. These are hostile hauntings, where a spirit has an axe to grind and is hell bent on seeing it through. Spirits whohave been wronged sometimes do not move on. Some hang around and try to play out their revenge from the other side. Some of these spirits mayhave a genuine reason for being so enraged, others may have imagined reasons, and really don't have a real idea of what took place, they just want to blame someone, much like the living sometimes do. Either way it's all about unrest on some level.

Some spirits can be reasoned with and urged to move on, but others just refuse and when this happens it is hard to get them to abandon their campaign of haunting someone. Since we, as incarnates in this life do not hold ultimate power over what happens here, let alone on the other side, weare sometimes unable to resolve these matters. I believe there are rules that govern these matters and we are not able to over ride themor even know the details of those rules for that matter.

I believe that this is because the shadowmen are soul harvesters who come like bounty hunters to try and haul these evil spirits off to the realm where they belong.

All three types of hauntings listed above, also seem to feature nightcrusher episodes, nightmares, and extreme physical activity. They sometimes try to integrate with a living person and sometimes succeed. While all of these are perceived as hostile haunts by the victims ofthese spirits, the truly evil spirits are actually easier to banish than the others. There is a fine line between what is truly evil, and what is just a desperate spirit with a serious cause. It takes different approaches to deal with all three of these kinds of haunts, and some may never be resolved.

Then there is another kind of haunting called an "Infestation" haunt. This means several spirits are teamed together and pooling their energy to create extreme activity.Usually in a hostile haunt, there is one ring leader who may even be oppressing the others and forcing them to participate in his or her agenda.

There are many other reasons as well, such as feeling the pain, of what they put their loved ones through and wanting so badly to let them know theyare there and they are sorry, and find a way to offer some kind of closure or resolution. Suicide spirits often hang around and try to interact with the world they left behind. Sometimes they just want to stay in their old homes and cling to their earthly life that they took for granted before. Because they are having such a hurricane of emotionof all kinds, they can also be quite unstable, even angry and frustrated and take it out on the living at times.

They may not have been ready to go to the next life and mourn their earthly existence to the point where theyjust want to stay here.

Theyare usually earthbound spirits who choose to stay in the realm of the living and play around at our expense. Spirits like these are usually part of a small group of trouble makers, that work together to achieve their mutual entertainment. These are some of the most common types ofspirits responsible for hauntings. They as a rule do not do any real harm, but are just out to get a rise out of us. If we don't give them a reaction, they often move on to somewhere , where their efforts willnot be ignored.

Opening a door is never a good idea, as there is no telling who or what will walk through it.

One thing I can tellyou is that the number of hostile cases has increased, in the last four years. I would like to hear your ideas concerning the possible reasons for this increase. I have my own theories but would love to hear others thoughts.

Each cell is a livingorganism in itself ,that memorizes its blueprint and regenerates andreplaces itself. Each creature has specific cells; each organ in itsbody has specific cells. The cell is a circular or spherical

form. All life begins with that spherical shape in some form.

For many years nowphotos have been showing these bright spherical orbs that baffle the paranormal community. Now most of these anomalies can be attributed todust particles, dirt on a camera lens, humidity and flash back from the camera flash reflecting on a shiny surface. These are all well known anomalies easily debunked by an experienced paranormal investigator, but what of the orb that seems to be so bright and

Gives off its own light? This is a quite different anomaly for which we have no explanation. Some people think orbs are spirits in their most base form. Some are of the mind that they aresome form of energy, yet unknown to science, that only the camera cansee. The die hard skeptics just won?t acknowledge them as anything paranormal whatsoever.

I find that orbs always seem to be present more often than not when photos are taken insupposed haunted locations. I have seen them on video as well, moving about erratically and at high speed. If this is just dust then it is some damned fast moving dust. Some orbs can be seen with the naked eye. Many case files show the same story from folks with hauntings, claiming they have seen balls of light moving through their homes. I myself have seen an orb the size of a baseball fly through my living room alongwith three other witnesses. It was bright blue, white and seemed to move rather quickly through the room and then just circle and go back out through the door, it came in. What could this phenomenon be? No one knows for sure right now but I have some theories or at least some possible ideas.

If you zoom in on an orb it actually resembles a cell more than anything else. It seems tobe a round sphere made up of several smaller ones and glitters much like one of the old Disco balls they had in the dance halls years ago.Cells split and become clusters of cells to form larger organisms in the physical world of matter and all organic life.

What if amongst all the tiny physical cells in our body there is one very large special cell that is our spirit? One of God's cells maybe, could every living creature have one of these as being a ray of God, as so many religions foster. Do these cells survive death with immortal life? Do they retain the blueprint of the physical organisms they came from and are they able to organize to produce apparitions or astral bodies of that organism? The things we see when we see ghosts? Is a human aura the light emanated from this cell we call our soul or spirit?

It is believed that energy can not really die but just takes on a new form. Therefore,

The spirit, if it is some form of pure energy, may change form or return to its original form after the physical body dies. I do find this to be a feasible notion.

The Kabbalah says "Asabove, so Below." this can apply to many things, does it apply to lifeforms? Is this why we are made in God's image, not so much physically but in these cells that may all be part of him. Maybe that's how he has eyes everywhere. Maybe we are his eyes and don?t even know it.

Tome, this theory is plausible from both a religious and scientific standpoint. Until we obtain more conclusive evidence as to what orbs are, we can not classify them as anything other than unknown phenomenon.
