Broad daylight ghosts

Posted by pinellaspascoparanormal on March 30, 2011 at 11:13 PM

I myself have seen two spirits in broad daylight that appeared solid, like living people, until of course they faded away into nothing. I have talked to many, many people who have also had experiences with these solid looking broad daylight ghosts. It does not happen often I guess, but it does happen, and enoughpeople have seen this sort of thing to make it worthy of discussion. My experience did make me wonder just how many times, we may glance at someone or nod our heads in greeting, as we often do to people we don't know, and actually be interacting with a spirit and not a living person. The spirits I saw looked so real that I did not even question their appearance until they faded away gradually into nothing. I thought I had seen living people at first, and so did many of the people who have witnessed this phenomenon. One of the spirits I saw, I waved to and he waved back, in my own neighborhood. Now this old man, I had waved to for years as he always was out in the front of his home, either walking the dog or going to the mailbox. I was still interacting with him here and there for three months, and then and only then was I informed that he had passed away, three months back. I guess he was just repeating his routine, and since he had always greeted me with a wave, he felt no reason to stop now. The second broad daylight ghost I saw was a child who for some reason kept coming into my yard and would show up by the pool, or the pond. I even caught this little guy, looking in myfront door window, one day while I sat at the table having my morning coffee. I have not seen this spirit in quite awhile, so I guess he has gone elsewhere or moved on to something better than just playing around in my yard. This poses so many questions in my mind.

1. Why is it that spirits who appear in broad daylight sometimes can look as solid and real as any one of the living?

2. What are the conditions that make it possible, for them to be able to appear solid like this, at times?

3. Just how many people have had an experience like this and never told anyone for fear of ridicule? It seems that when I bring this topic up many people will tell me about a simiar experience they had with a broad daylight spirit.

If you have seen a solid looking broad daylight ghost, please tell us about your experience. Details like, how long you were able to see them, how exactly they vanished, whether they faded or blinked ouot like when you turn off the TV, or whatever. Thanks and please let us know what you saw. Also this is open for discussion if anyone has any ideas about this at ll, we would like to hear about it. Just put youcomments here at the blog. Thanks Laurie

Hm interesting. Maybe it just has to do with energy. Maybe they gathered up enough energy to do something like this. But I can't imagine how long and hard the spirit had worked in order to muster up the energy. And then they have to decide who to show themselves too. I don't know. I didn't have a full fledged body appear and disappear on me but I had half of one show up. My first paranormal experience actually. Back when I was 16, I worked at the golf course and I was looking off at the 18th hole from the club house when I saw from the knee's down someone walking. So I did research and found out there had been a man who's ashes were spread on the 18th hole. So thats my story. Hopefully I didn't bore you.

I won?t pretend to know what happens after death. It?s interesting though that these ?apparitions? can manifest in daylight. I guess I have always thought that it was a night thing. I guess I just fell into the mass belief of the stereotype. I don?t know that I necessarily have an answer for this, or even a good idea. Everything that I have learned though would suggest about firing of the neurons, and the brains way of visually comprehending abnormalities

hey Jourdan, so nice to see you here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I think that we really can not understand these things, but suffice to say, "there are more things in heaven and earth than we might imagine." I hope to see you here again to share your ideas with us. Laurie

I remember the man from the 18th hole. That was something else. I wonder if he still hangs out there? I guess that is where he enjoyed himself the most. They always return to what they love.

Try working with one in a funeral home!
Especially when they're GORGEOUS men w/a great sense of humor.
That gives credence to the statement that the best ones are dead or took! LOL
How about one that sometimes pops into my bathroom. I'm just glad he doesn't do that when I don't have clothes on -- I'd scare him to death if he wasn't dead already. LOL At least he's polite, covers his eyes, lowers his head, and says "Oh, excuse me" then pops back out.
The ones I've run into -- sometimes literally, the first one has substance, too -- I think they do it because they can and they want to. With these two fellas, it really is just that simple.

I too have had a solid spirit visit me in the day light hours. I had a feeling I was no longer alone. It was more than that I knew I wasn't alone. I was sitting at my computer maybe 11am or 12pm when I turned to look at what was watching me I saw a child peeking out from around the corner of the wall to the hall thatled to my bath room and my kids room my middle and youngest daughter share. He was leaning out around the wall I could see most of his upper body and half of his lower like one leg the other still being behind the wall. He also was in old clothes not of this period. Like black shorts with sespenders and white shirt. very plain. with like a dutch boy bob haircut. What had me unnerved was the smile he was wearing one of the most mischievious grins. Like he was saying I see you. and I am sure he knew I could see him. I did not see him Pop up or fade out. He was there when I turned around and I was startled so I turned back and a few seconds later when I looked again he was gone. I got up right away and looked in the bathroom and thekids room and saw nothing. The one thing that gets me is he didn't seem to have any white to his eyes they looked completely black. My first reaction was fear, but I got that under control right away. I knew that wasn't going to help. I did say out loud I saw you. But heard nothing and didn't see it again. I told my husband about it and we were out front of our house with the landlord one night about 3 weeks later, they were in the driveway and I was on the porch and a woman came walking by which is unusual because we live in a very rural area. She called out to my husband and the land lord" You see spirits in that house?" My land lord said no there aren't any spirits in there. Well my husband snapped his head up and locked eyes with me. Because of corse I had but we hadn't told the landlord. Then she said my brother used to live there and he saw spirits. I have always believed in ghost .We can safely say I know they are real. I have often through out my life caught stuff out of the corner of my eye or felt I was not alone or someone was watching me, but never like this he was so solid, so real. And what do you make of the black eyes? I have seen living people with big pupils and you almost can't see the whites of there eyes. I just said to it that I saw it and that was it besides that I ignored slight movements out of the corner of my eye and feelings I wasn't alone. But I never tried to make contact. It just didn't seem like a good idea. But also I wasn't bothered by it and it never showed itself to me but the once. Anyone have an opinion about this? Or what it might have been about?

Well, Wendy, I think you did see a daylight ghost. As far as the eyes, many people have reported this same phenomenon with spirit sightings. There seems to be a lot of interest in something people are calling "the black eyed children." I have not read much on it as i assumed they are just spirits. Spirits don't have to live in your home to be seen occasionally as spirits pass through places all the time. Maybe this is why you never saw him again. Or it is possible that on that day, every condition was just perfect for him to manifest and you to catch that glimpse of him, who know?

Hi, I've seen 3 solid spirits and 2 of those were during the day.
The first one was in Columbus, Ohio in a town home when I was 10 yrs old. I came home from school and changed, then went to into the bathroom to brush my hair because there was no mirror in my bedroom. I remember turning on the light because there was no window in the bathroom, lifting up the brush to start brushing and then looking into the mirror, that's when I saw a man standing in the bathtub. He was solid but I remember thinking "that's a ghost" because he was dressed in a golden colored robe that looked "fancy" like it had a lighter gold colored pattern on it. He was blond but I can't remember what his face looked like. He didn't move or speak or anything, but as soon as I saw him it felt like the brush was knocked out of my hand. I calmly bent down to pick it up and remember thinking "Ghost always disappear once you look away so he'll be gone" (10 yr old logic), but he was still there when I stood up so I ran downstairs to be with my mom and sister. I wasn't brave enough to look back at the tub to see if he was actually there and not just in the mirror.
The 2nd solid ghost that I encountered during the daytime was also in Columbus, Ohio in an apartment not too far from the previously mentioned ghost. I was 12 yrs old (almost 13) and it was in the morning during winter break, my mom's boyfriend had just left to go to work and my mom, sister, and I were getting ready to go out to the grocery store. My mom asked me to go get her one of her boyfriend's coats out of the closet in their room because it had just started to snow and she wanted an extra coat since we were going to be waiting at a bus stop. I went into their room while my mom was helping my sister get ready in the living room, the closet was a regular one with slider doors that pushed to one side of the other and one of the doors was already open. I saw a jacket lying on some trash bags on the floor of the closet (they contained clothing since we didn't have dressers) but when I went down to reach for it I realized that it didn't look right and that's when something that looked EXACTLY like my mom's boyfriend turned it's head back to look at me. It looked back behind it's shoulder and up at me, like it was lying in the closet on the bags facing the closet interior. I remember noticing that it was wearing jean pants but I didn't look to see if it had feet or shoes. It had an expression on it's face of "what do you want' like I disturbed it. I saw my mom's boyfriend leave just minutes beforehand and we didn't have a back door and the windows were shut (not to mention that he had left in the car of a fellow employee who came to pick him up). This is the scariest thing that I've ever encountered because it looked like someone who I know wasn't dead! I was scared and ran to leave but the door was closed and locked. That sent my panic soaring because I definitely did NOT close or lock the door behind me, I was just supposed to be getting a coat. While I was freaking out and turning the lock (it opened right away) I heard the bags rustling like it was moving or getting up. After unlocking the door I ran to my mom and told her about it but she just said to never mind the coat and said we should leave immediately.
Sorry this is so long but I wanted to be as thorough as possible.
